The WACA and Australian Cricket has a vision for cricket to be reflective of the communities in which it is played. That means that people from more diverse backgrounds will have access and inclusion into community cricket programs.
Below are some resources that might be helpful for clubs looking to be more active in this space. Please bear in mind that there is no silver bullet for inclusion and no one right answer. Its about taking a person first approach to every individual that comes to your club.
The WACA are also lucky enough to be supported by some great partners such as Inclusion Solutions and the Autism Association of WA. They are experts in their fields and are keen to help community clubs.
If you would like more information or to discuss inclusion at your club, contact your Cricket Manager to set up a meeting.
