A tall off-break bowler of considerable promise, Rocchiccioli joined Western Australia on a Rookie contract in 2020-21 before being elevated to a senior contract the following year. Rocchiccioli made his First-Class debut against South Australia in September 2021 and went on to play three more times that season.

Despite being regarded as a specialist bowler, Rocchiccioli's most notable performance came during the Sheffield Shield Final against Victoria at the WACA Ground, when, batting at No.10, the 24-year-old blasted a 29-ball 50 to propel his team's first innings score well past 350. Rocchiccioli generally bowls with an attacking mindset and generates noteworthy bounce.

He has quickly become an integral part of the red-ball setup playing in each of WA's three Sheffield Shield titles over the past three seasons. He produced a career-best campaign in 2023-24, finishing with a team-high 46 wickets at 27.60. 

Rocchiccioli has once again been a reliable wicket-taker this summer, tallying 27 at 26.88 in his seven matches. His efforts include a maiden Shield five-wicket haul in a Player of the Match performance against Queensland at the Gabba in February, snaring 7-52 to guide his side to a convincing innings victory over the home side.

He has also shown his versatility in recent weeks, taking 2-38 on his white-ball debut for WA against South Australia at the WACA Ground.
