Keaton Critchell joined WA ahead of the 2024-25 season, placing his career as a Physical Education teacher on hold to accept his first state contract.
An experienced Premier Cricket campaigner, the Midland-Guildford skipper rose to prominence in February 2024 with back-to-back centuries for WA's second XI against Tasmania's reserves.
Critchell made his WA debut in a One-Day Cup match against Tasmania later that month, before representing the Emerging Scorchers during the 2024 Top End T20 Series in August 2024.
The 28-year-old added to his 50-over appearances in a rain-affected match against Victoria and earned a Sheffield Shield debut against South Australia in a pink-ball match at Adelaide Oval.
The batting allrounder strikes the ball cleanly and is a useful seam-bowling option with experience across all formats in Premier Cricket.
