Player Story

Corey Wasley earned his first rookie contract ahead of the 2024-25 season after a sustained run of impressive form with Rockingham-Mandurah. 

Flourishing as a teenager in the WA Premier Cricket First Grade competition, Wasley was selected to play two Tests (both against England) and five ODIs (four versus England, one against Namibia) for the Australian Under-19 team. 

He also blasted a 27-ball 54 in Darwin while playing for the emerging Scorchers against a Pakistan representative side featuring capped T20I bowlers Abbas Afridi and Arafat Minhas. 

The powerful left-hander strikes the ball cleanly and has the capacity to score quickly in all formats.
