Liam Haskett joined WA ahead of the 2023-24 domestic season after two impressive seasons with Claremont-Nedlands in the WA Premier Cricket First Grade competition.
A mature-aged prospect, Haskett was named 12th man in WA's last regular season Sheffield Shield match of 2022-23 before formally joining the state setup a few months later.
With injuries and national commitments decimating WA's bowling stocks during the 2023-24 pre-season, Haskett was named for the Sheffield Shield season-opener against Victoria again acquitted himself superbly on debut.
He collected 20 wickets at 24.74 in six Shield games that season, and made his List A debut in November 2023, also versus Victoria.
Exceeding two metres in height with the ability to extract bounce on all surfaces, Haskett is a challenging opponent wherever he plays.
