Josh Vernon is an exciting young fast bowler hailing from Dampier in the Pilbara region of northwest WA.
He earned his first rookie contract ahead of the 2023-24 domestic season and spent much of that campaign honing his craft for Midland-Guildford's First Grade Premier Cricket team.
Viewed as a prospect of considerable promise, Vernon impressed for the Australian Under-19 team in 2023. In two Tests, four ODIs and one T20I against England's Under-19 side, Vernon amassed 18 wickets at 20.83 across all formats.
