Player Story
Peschel is among the most experienced players in the WA squad. The 29-year-old has become the leader of the WA bowling attack in recent years, with the right-arm swing bowler showcasing her skills with the new ball and at the end of the innings.
She produced her best season at WNCL level in 2023-24, taking 10 wickets in eight matches, while restricting the opposition to just 3.74 runs per over off her bowling.
Her leadership towards the younger players has grown significantly in recent years, passing on her knowledge to younger quicks Zoe Britcliffe and Chloe Ainsworth as they look to take the next step in their careers.
Peschel will be hoping to take her game to new heights in 2024-25, as she continues to be a leader in WA's evolving bowling group.
