Griffith polled 22 votes to take out the highest honour in WA female premier cricket, finishing clear of State teammates Ashley Day (17) and Chloe Ainsworth (16).
She is Subiaco-Floreat's third Karen Read medalist, following in the footsteps of legendary WA batter Nicole Bolton (2020-21) and former State wicketkeeper Megan Banting (2014-15).
A powerful right-hander, Griffith finished her dominant campaign with 464 runs at 77.33 during the A-Grade 50-over season, to go with 379 runs at 47.38 in the A-Grade T20 Competition.
In 18 innings across both formats, Griffith tallied five half-centuries and two centuries, including a stylish 131 off 136 deliveries versus Midland-Guildford.
The award capped off a productive summer for 30-year-old Griffith, who debuted for WA against Queensland in December after moving to Perth from New South Wales in 2021.
Griffith was also named captain of the 2022-23 WA Premier Cricket Female Team of the season, and took out the Female A Grade T20 and One Day batting aggregate awards.
