The 22-year-old Joondalup wicketkeeper-batsman, who debuted for WA in the 2016-17 season, is part of the squad which will spend more than three months at the Bupa National Cricket Centre in Brisbane, under the tutelage of National Performance Program Head Coach Troy Cooley and newly appointed High Performance Coaches Matthew Elliott and Ryan Harris.
This year's camp features several specialist camps, including the trip to the Snowy Mountains, and a tour to the MRF Academy in India.
The program is designed to add to the work done within state systems, and prepare players capable of competing at international level for Australia within the next five years.
The squad has been put through a range of activities, trail walks and runs in the Snowy Mountains, during the region's cold period.
Inglis has embraced the challenge ahead of a big 2017-18 season.
"This camp means getting a bit fitter and getting ready for the season ahead," Inglis said.
"Hopefully I'll work on my skills and get ready for the Matador Cup in September.
Inglis made his Sheffield Shield debut following regular gloveman Sam Whiteman's finger injury, playing five games, making 229 runs including two half-centuries and taking 25 catches behind the stumps.
He has also played Matador BBQs One-Day Cup for the Cricket Australia XI blasting 187 runs at an average of 31.16 in the 2016-17 tournament.
"It was good to get an opportunity," Inglis said.
"Unfortunate for Sammy with his injury but it was great to get a go with the Wacaboys.
"I really enjoyed myself and it was great to get a bit of success along the way as well."
